In my assessment, as many as 45 Islamic countries have been unable to stop Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) from violently placing the Kashmir predicament on a hanger.
The television and social media have depicted different ideologies about RSS. The RSS is supported by Hindu extremists and strongly encourages the principles of Hindu sovereignty. It is also considered the parent organization of the governing party of India, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
In a YouTube video, Israr Ahmed, an Islamic scholar, referred to unveiling the real face of RSS. He said that the RSS was established in 1925 and its formation was not a sudden process. The main purpose of establishing RSS was to destroy the unity of Muslims because they were fully aware that their strength lay in the weakness of Muslims. Therefore, they were engaged in making conspiracies along with the Hindu community to scatter Muslims. Since 1925, this organization has never partaken in politics. Under the RSS leadership, there are three main pillars named Bali Ram Hedgewar, Mahadev Golwalker, and Balasaheb Deoras. The last is the most recent and has emerged in the fast surviving nucleus of RSS.
The RSS political philosophy is created on the ideologies of Hindutva, which promote the supremacy of a Hindu state and cultivating dedicated Hindu values. It is a cruel ideology of imposing the rule of high cast controlled Hinduism over other religions including Islam, Christianity etc. Since independence, it is waiting for the time when the Muslim majority will be converted into a minority. Their target is to assassinate Muslims, particularly Kashmiris, by bringing Hindus and Sikhs communities together. Moreover, their 72 restless years have passed but they are still abortive in its mission because occupied Kashmiris are losing their lives for the security of their Muslim Comrades.
The RSS agenda is to use Kashmir as a tool to manage its hold over other religious groups
The RSS has been banned thrice. The first time the RSS was banned was in February of 1948 after the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. It was the public opinion that the RSS was behind it but nobody could find any evidence. Moreover, it was asserted that the workers of RSS had indulged in acts of violence, including robbery and firebombing. The second time it was banned was on June 1975, during the reign of Indira Gandhi, when she claimed emergency due to the internal security of the country. The third time it was banned was in 1993, after the destruction of Babri Masjid. Yet, each time the ban was reverted and it was given the same powers.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the ideology of RSS was dangerous for all. It was not only dangerous for Kashmiris but also detrimental to Indian Muslims, Christians and Dalits.
The Modi government is prepared to lead goons from RSS. This came true on August 5 when it started a butchery of the Muslims in the occupied valley of Kashmir. The RSS agenda is to use Kashmir as a tool to manage its hold over other religious groups. Since 1989, Kashmiris have been arching for peace and an end to the series of militant attacks, suppression and disputes that have shattered the economy. As PM Khan recently tweeted his concerns about the “future genocide of Kashmiris,” he claimed that there was an “attempt to change the demography of Kashmir through ethnic cleansing and ultimately lead to targeting Pakistan.”
President Trump, who previously spoke so eagerly about playing a role as a mediator in resolving the Kashmir issue, has now made a complete flip-flop after meeting Indian PM Narendra Modi. Here, my concern is why other Muslim countries have such a muted response over the Kashmir crackdown? Why their economic concerns with India are given more importance over human rights violation and genocide in Kashmir?
Kashmiris are worried and their enduring hopes are dashed now.
PM Khan tried shoring up support from all over the Muslim world but some of the Muslim countries failed to show unity with the Muslim comrades of Kashmir because of their economic interests. We all know Modi was awarded the highest civilian honor by the UAE. PM Khan truly said that those countries who were not siding with us, due to their commercial concerns, would, sooner or later, take this issue up. The people of Kashmir still wish to earn their independence as they are not frightened of rendering losses for their sovereignty.
Right now, there is a need for a strong unity of all Muslims within Pakistan and across the globe to take out Kashmiris from their miserable lives. The international community would never play a role as a facilitator for Pakistan to resolve the Kashmir tensions until Pakistan stands at par with India on the economic frontage. The best way out for Kashmir is the same, which has been definite, according to the rules. Besides, Pakistan should strengthen itself economically at any cost to achieve peace and prosperity in South Asia. At present, Pakistan’s foreign policies should be based on national security and economic progress, which would ultimately lead to resolving issues, predominantly Kashmir. We have to build a crisscross harmony. Only then, we can put stress on the UN. Otherwise, we will keep on blowing up from our several fault lines.
